If you would like to reset your permissions to the default server settings, which will remove any permissions you've set, click HERE. This will give you a clean set of permissions.
You may set the permissions on user's you've defined through create user.
You may type directories and/or file names in the directory box.
Leave the directory field blank to set permissions on the root directory.
List permission allows a user access to the directory, but they have no rights to the files within the directory.
All users must have at least list access to the root directory in order to log in through FTP.
Two user names, browser and ftp_user, are created by the system to handle anonymous web browser and FTP access.
If you create a directory off the root with the same name as a user's name, when the user logs in through an FTP client they will automatically be placed in that directory.
